PureU

Software — iOS · Launching 15 August 2026

Three habits on one loop — a morning alarm you clear with your body, a daytime scroll-blocker, and a night shutdown. The camera does the checking.

SCROLL

Every other alarm
takes your word for it.

A snooze button is a negotiation with someone who is not qualified to negotiate. So PureU removes the negotiation: the alarm keeps sounding until the phone's camera has counted the squats. Not a checkbox, not an honour system, not a puzzle you can solve half-asleep — the actual movement.

The same principle runs through the day. Screen Time limits are enforced at the OS level rather than suggested, and the evening wind-down closes the loop the alarm opened. One person is being designed for here: the 11pm scroller who hates their 7am self.

[ WHAT'S ACTUALLY IN IT ]

01
Wake

A real system alarm — it survives the lock screen and it survives being ignored. An unproven morning reconciles as a miss rather than quietly disappearing, because a streak you can accidentally keep is not a streak.

02
Limit

A daytime blocker built on Screen Time and Family Controls, with an earn-back mode for people who want the deal to be negotiable and a hard-block mode for people who know it shouldn't be.

03
Wind down

A step-by-step evening sequence with a face-down finish. No feed, no streak-shaming, no notification that pulls you back into the phone you just put down.

[ DETAIL ]

Implementation intentions roughly double follow-through, and habit formation takes a median of 66 days — not 21. The app is designed around both numbers rather than around a motivational quote.Gollwitzer & Sheeran, 2006 · Lally et al., 2010
